The Kiwanis Club of Swayambhu Nepal successfully celebrated its Induction, Installation, and 7th Charter Day Anniversary on 5th January at Kutee Restaurant, Thamel, with a special dinner program. The event marked seven years of dedicated service, fellowship, and commitment to the Kiwanis mission.

The program was honored by the presence of Kiwanis International Board Trustee Mr. Mohan Lamsal as the chief guest and Nepal District Governor Mr. Ram Sharan Thapaliya as the special guest. The event was also attended by several distinguished district leaders, including Mr. Ramhari Subedi, Mr. Bharat Prasad Dhungel, Mr. Yek Raj Panta, Mr. Rajan Neupane, Mr. Raju Kandel, and other Kiwanis members.

The program was smoothly conducted by the Charter President Mr. Rajkumar Devekota as the Master of Ceremony. The event began with a warm welcome speech by Past President Mr. Netra Bagale, highlighting the journey and achievements of the club over the past seven years.

During the program, Secretary Ms. Sunita Poudel presented the Secretary’s Report and Treasurer’s Report, providing an overview of the club’s activities, achievements, and financial status. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Past President Mr. Uddhav Acharya, expressing gratitude to the guests, members, and organizers for making the event successful. The meeting was formally concluded by the Club President Mr. Bashu Dev Bagale.

Important and inspiring speeches regarding the vision of Kiwanis and the role of the club were delivered by Mr. Mohan Lamsal, Mr. Ram Sharan Thapaliya, Mr. Ramhari Poudel, and Mr. Bharat Dhungana, motivating members to continue their service with dedication and unity.

Coincidentally, the same day also marked the birthday of the Club Secretary, Ms. Sunita Poudel. The celebration became even more special with the cutting of two cakes—one for the 7th Charter Day and another for the birthday—adding joy and warmth to the occasion.

The celebration was attended by more than 20 club members and was marked by excellent fellowship, lively interaction, and a joyful atmosphere. The evening concluded with dinner, making it a memorable and enjoyable event for all participants.
